Who you're dealing with
These terms are between you and V27 (Laurence Thanadon Landayan, sole trader, ABN 68 462 786 529, Sydney, Australia). Payments are taken by Polar as our reseller; their checkout terms cover the payment itself. By buying, installing or using a V27 product you agree to these terms.
Your licence
When you buy Thanaflow, Clocked or any V27 product, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime licence to:
- install and use it on up to two computers that you use, at the same time;
- use it for personal projects and for paid commercial and client work;
- get updates to that version (bug fixes and improvements) at no extra cost.
A licence is for one person. Studios and teams need one licence per editor; email us for team pricing. You can move a licence to a new computer at any time with Move to another computer in the plugin, or from the Polar customer portal.
V27 Mates licences
Some licences are given free to friends and early supporters. They work exactly like a paid licence, are personal to the person they were given to and can't be passed on, sold or shared.
What you can't do
- share, publish, resell, rent or give away your licence key or the plugin files;
- use one licence for more than two computers or more than one person;
- copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the tools, or remove or get around the licence check;
- use the code or design of the tools to make a competing product.
If a key is shared publicly or misused, we can turn it off. If that happens by mistake, email us and we'll sort it out.
Ownership
V27 owns the tools, including the code, design, names and artwork. You're buying the right to use them, not the tools themselves. Everything you make with them is yours.
Refunds
If a tool doesn't work for you, email support@finalv27.com within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you in full. Your licence is turned off when the refund goes through. After 14 days, we'll still always help, and the Australian Consumer Law protections below still apply.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If a tool has a major failure, you're entitled to a refund; for other problems, we'll fix them or refund you.
Fair warning
V27 tools work inside Adobe apps, and Adobe changes those apps often. We test with the current versions and fix issues as fast as we can, but we can't promise every feature works in every version, on every computer. Save your work and keep backups, as you would with any plugin.
To the extent the law allows, and apart from the guarantees above, the tools are provided as they are, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We're not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses.
Adobe
V27 is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe. Adobe, Premiere Pro and After Effects are trademarks of Adobe Inc. You need your own Adobe licence to use V27 tools.
Ending the licence
Your licence lasts forever unless you break these terms or get a refund. If it ends, stop using the tools and delete them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If we update them, the version at the time you bought still applies to that purchase.
