Who we are
V27 is run by Laurence Thanadon Landayan, a sole trader in Sydney, Australia (ABN 68 462 786 529). We make Thanaflow and Clocked for Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. If you have a question about your data, email support@finalv27.com.
When you buy
Checkout is handled by Polar (polar.sh), who act as the reseller and merchant of record, with card payments processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
From each order, Polar shares with us:
- your name and email address
- your country and, where needed for tax, your billing address
- what you bought, the price, any discount code and the date
We use this to send your licence key and downloads, help with support, handle refunds and keep the tax records Australian law requires. Polar's own privacy policy covers how they handle your payment.
When you activate a licence
When you paste your key into Thanaflow or Clocked, the plugin contacts Polar's licence service directly and sends:
- your licence key
- a label for the computer, made from its name (for example "Matt's MacBook Pro · Thanaflow")
- which product it is and whether the computer is a Mac or Windows PC
This is how we keep each licence to two computers and let you move it between them. The plugin checks the key again about once a week. A small file on your computer remembers your licence so it keeps working offline for up to 30 days.
What the tools don't do
- No analytics, tracking or usage reporting.
- Your projects, footage, sequences, presets and renders stay on your computer. Nothing is uploaded.
- The Thanaflow app only talks to Premiere Pro and After Effects on the same computer, over a local connection that never leaves your machine.
- Clocked keeps your project hours, rates and exports in Documents/Clocked on your computer. We never see them.
This website
finalv27.com is hosted by Cloudflare. It uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Fonts load from Google Fonts. When you click Buy, the checkout opens from Polar.
Emails
We email you about your purchase, your licence and important product updates. If we ever send news or offers, it'll only be with your permission and every email will have an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as Australian tax law requires (usually five years) and licence records for as long as your licence is active. Ask us and we'll delete anything we don't legally need to keep.
Your rights
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, wherever you live. Email support@finalv27.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with how we've handled a privacy issue, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and let customers know by email.
